Sax Man Terence is your guy to set the tone for your event!  The saxophone is a remarkable instrument and is unique in that it’s the only popular acoustic instrument known to have been invented with it’s own soothing sound.  It brings me great pleasure to introduce Mr. Terence Hawkins, Better known as the “Sax Man”.

 

Mr. Terence Hawkins, The New Inspirational Jazz King of Gospel, is a gifted man of God. He is a native of Jackson, Michigan and was educated in Detroit, Michigan, earning a degree in Architecture and Design.  He is a well-sought after recording artist with many offers to play in various states.  His passion and enthusiasm is playing  inspirational/gospel sounds that sooth the mind, spirit and soul of people of all backgrounds.

 

“Sax Man” Terence has traveled and performed  live for many large audiences during various events, such as musicals, special ceremonies, festivals, concerts, weddings, banquets,  private parties, just to name a few.  He has appeared on many radio and television shows across the USA. He has had the opportunity to play with National Artist such as Gospel greats, Dr. Mattie Moss Clark, Michael Brooks,  Fred Hammond and was the featured soloist for Grammy Award Winning, Dorinda Clark-Cole.

He recently was a featured artist on Lexi’s Fresh Fire showcase and was afforded the opportunity to open for  legendary Gospel Artist Vickie Winans.

 

 Now with over (35) years of music  experience, in 2009 he stepped out on faith and started his own band “Dunamis”. In March of 2013 Terence released his debut album entitled “MEDITATIONS”. His CD promises to set a melodious atmosphere where people may experience Gods awesome power, healing and deliverance. His CD is being met with unprecedented success and hitting the charts by storm, with a diverse audience.
